The Society was formed in 1999 with the aim to promote interest in all aspects of history in Hamble and the surrounding area.

It held its meetings at the Roy Underdown Pavilion, College Playing Fields, Baron Road, Hamble, SO31 4RN but is currently holding them at Hamble Memorial Hall, High Street, Hamble, SO31 4JE.   New members and visitors are always welcomed.
